Who we are
We are a group of people who love to serve Jesus and the people of our community. Just a regular group of kids, students, blue collar workers, migrant workers, white collar workers, retirees and everything in between. All are welcome!
Our Goals
Did you ever notice that Jesus lived and taught with tremendous simplicity? It would seem Jesus enjoyed conversations around an open fire while fresh fish and bread baked over the coals. He was practical, friendly, realistic and consistent in this one theme: that He lived His day to day, moment to moment life as a grace filled ambassador for the Kingdom of Heaven. That's exactly what we're striving to be about too.
Our Values
Authentically Biblical
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Bible are true, accurate, and life-changing. As such we are committed to teaching and preaching the whole Bible. We believe that Christians will grow in their faith through intentional discipleship, prayer, and Bible study. We believe that the lives of authentic Christians will be clearly seen in their actions and words. (Gal. 5:16-25; 2 Tim. 3:16-17)
Culturally Relevant
We will not bend the truth or deviate from the teachings of the Bible in any way. We will seek to communicate the truth in language and form that is relevant to our culture. We value dynamic preaching that expresses the mysteries of the Bible. We value vibrant music that expresses worship to God.

Highly Relational
We have no desire to become a social club of disconnected people who come together once a week. Instead we will seek meaningful relationships within the church through small groups and corporate gatherings. We will seek relationships outside of the church by caring for and loving people like God does.

Committed to Excellence
We will seek to honour God through our commitment to excellence in all we do. Prayer, public worship, art, drama, children’s ministry and community outreach will all be undertaken as an act of worship to the Lord. As such, we will invest sacrificially of our time, our talents and our treasures to bring God the glory He deserves.

Outward Focus
We will use our times together to encourage and equip one another for life as Ambassadors of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the real world where we live and work. For when our eyes are focused on God we see His care and His leading into this vast globe of hungry, lost souls. We will intentionally and prayerfully take risks, make time and set aside resources for this kind of Kingdom investment and we will lend support to others that do the same. What We Believe
God
We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, holy, sovereign, eternal, loving, gracious, merciful, existing in three equal Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

God the Father
The Father is God. He is the source of all life. It is in Him that we live and move and have our being. The Father seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth and He hears the prayers of all who call on Him. At the appointed time the Father sent the Son into the world for the redemption of mankind, forgiving those who repent of their sins, and righteously judging all those who reject Him.

Jesus Christ is God. He existed eternally with God the Father before His earthly birth. He was born on this earth through a virgin, He lived a completely sinless life, He died in mankind’s place as our substitute for sin, He did not remain dead but rose from the grave three days after His bloody death, He ascended to the right hand of God the Father and works as the advocate for all who would believe in Him.

God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God. The Spirit convinces of sin, gives people new life, and guides them into all truth. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within all those who believe in Jesus Christ and lives as our Counsellor. The Spirit gives believers power and understanding for Christian life and ministry.

The Bible
We believe that the Bible, composed of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, was inspired by God through the Holy Spirit. We believe that the original expressions of the words of the Bible are entirely free from error. We believe the Bible is the final authority for all Christians in matters of faith, life, and true Christian fellowship.

Humanity
We believe that human beings were divinely created in the image of God. We believe that God created humans to live in fellowship with Him. He created us as males and females to live and work in meaningful, mutual relationships with each other. Because of the sin of our original ancestors, Adam and Eve, sin entered the world and the fellowship between God and man was broken. All people have rebelled against God and are guilty before Him. We are completely helpless to reconcile our fellowship with God and are only deserving of righteous judgement.

Satan
We believe that sin entered the world through the work of Satan, the adversary of God and His people. We believe that Satan was once a chief angel who now exists as an evil personality. Satan uses sin to corrupt humanity and tempt people into lives of selfishness and pride.
(John 8:44; 2 Cor. 11:14)
Salvation
We believe that all hope is not lost to Satan and the consequences of sin. We believe that by the will of God the Father, Jesus Christ voluntarily suffered in our place and reconciliation to God is possible. We believe that the finished work of Jesus Christ is sufficient for all people, yet efficient only for those who call upon His name as Savior and Lord. We believe that those whom God has reconciled to Himself through Jesus Christ will have assurance of their salvation, will necessarily mature in their Christian life, and will one day be made perfect.

The Church
We believe the church is a uniquely called group of people called by God through Jesus Christ. The church is made up of males and females from every nation on the earth, from every race and social class. We believe the church is a sovereign, independent entity that exercises its own spiritual gifts, beliefs and privileges under the direction of Jesus Christ, the Great Pastor of the church. We believe that the local church is governed on earth by qualified pastors and deacons. We believe the local church is called to meet together regularly for Bible teaching, spiritual growth, worship, fellowship, evangelism, prayer, and the practice of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Baptism
We believe that all believers of Jesus Christ are called to express their faith through water baptism which signifies identification with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. We believe in full immersion baptism administered by the local church. We believe the only prerequisite for Christian baptism is faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Lord’s Supper
We believe the local church is called to regularly celebrate the Lord’s Supper. In the sharing of bread and juice the participants are pointed to Christ, whose body was broken for us and whose blood was shed to assure salvation for believers. The celebration of the Lord’s Table should be both a humbling experience, whereby believers are to examine themselves, their sin, and the judgement they deserve, and a joyous occasion whereby the church is reminded of the great love that God has shown through Jesus Christ, His mercy and grace.

Singleness, Marriage and Family
We believe that singleness and marriage are honoured by God and should be blessed by the church. God instituted marriage as a covenant between a man and a woman for the purpose of companionship, sexual intimacy, and procreation. Children are gifts from God and should be nurtured by parents in the ways of God. God calls all people, single and married, to live sexually pure lives. In the face of troubled relationships the church offers hope, healing and spiritual restoration while continually upholding the biblical ideals of marital faithfulness, reconciliation within families and respectful love.

The Future
We believe in the personal, bodily and wonderful return of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the bodily resurrection of all humans; in the eternal joyful life of believers with God and in the judgement and conscious, eternal punishment of unbelievers.
